What Virtual Cockpit is
Instead of classic needles, you get a fully digital screen in front of the wheel — with full-screen navigation, sport layouts, driving info and personalisation. On Audi it is called Virtual Cockpit, on VW Digital Cockpit (Active Info Display).
Which models support the retrofit
- Audi — A3 (8V), A4/A5 (B9), A6/A7, Q2, Q3, Q5, Q7 and others on the MQB/MLB platform.
- VW — Golf 7 and 7.5, Passat B8, Tiguan, T-Roc, Arteon.
- Škoda and Seat — selected models (Octavia, Superb, Leon), depending on equipment.
Availability depends on the platform, year and existing equipment — confirmed by VIN.
What the installation involves
An original (OEM) digital cluster is fitted and then coded across all related modules so it works without faults — steering wheel, mileage, language, units. Without proper coding the cluster throws faults or will not show everything. More on the Retrofit page.
Genuine vs “universal” solutions
We work only with genuine parts matched by part number to your car — no “universal” clusters that ruin the factory look and cause problems at inspection. The goal is for it to look and work as if the car left the factory that way.
